MISSION

The staff at West Liberty Elementary believe that all students can successfully learn at a high level when allowed to develop at their own rate and their own learning styles over a given period of time. We accept the responsibility for developing and implementing strategies for teaching all students. The measure of success will be evident by the increased level of performance.

Needs Assessment

The faculty and staff reviewed KCCT and Discovery Education formative assessment scores and data then generated a list of priority needs. The needs were submitted to the SBDM committee to be discussed.

Goals

The faculty met and adjusted the current goals and objectives in order to meet NCLB goals and KCAS standards.

Evaluation

Frequent monitoring of the plan by teachers; students; parents; component managers and SBDM council will occur throughout the school year by having the implementation and impact addressed at SBDM council meetings.

Stakeholders

All members of the West Liberty Elementary staff along with SBDM council members serve as stakeholders
