                                    - Introduction to Engineering Design (IED)

                                                - teaches problem-solving skills using a design development process

                                                - uses modeling computer design software

                                    - Principles of Engineering

                                                - helps students understand the field of engineering/engineering technology

                                                - students learn how engineers/technicians use math, science, and technology to solve problems

                                                - includes concerns about social and political consequences of technological change

                                    - Digital Electronics

                                                - uses computer simulation software

                                                - students design/test digital circuitry prior to actual construction of devices

                                    - Civil Engineering and Architecture

                                                - provides an overview of the fields of Civil Engineering and Architecture

                                                - students use state of the are software to solve real world problems and communicate solutions to hands-on projects

                                                - this course covers topics such as:

                                                                ° The Roles of Civil Engineers and Architects

                                                                ° Project Planning

                                                                ° Site Planning

                                                                ° Building Design

                                                                ° Project Documentation and Presentation

                                    - Computer Integrated Manufacturing

                                                - students use CAD design program

                                                - this course builds on computer modeling skills developed in previous classes

                                                - students us CNC equipment to produce models of their 3-dimensional designs

                                   - Engineering Design and Development (EDD)

                                                - students work in teams to research, design and consturct solutions to engineering problems

                                                - students must present progress reports and submit a final written report at end of school year
